Hey, I don't know if anyone else saw the video on Colts.com, but Grigson was talking with Mewhort just telling him that he was now with the Colts. I noticed that Grigson was standing in front of the draft in a couple frames. I paused and was able to get the following screen shot.
Here are a few nuggets that I can decipher. Column A is the Colts punter rankings. Column B (behind Grigson in the current frame) is labeled as "Retired." These appear to be guys that were seniors and decided not to enter the draft. This column appears to be ranked regardless of position. So, if your name is Andrew Summerlin or Tim Hasson. You might want to consider your life in the NFL because apparently the Colts' scouts think highly of you.
Column C are guys that returned to school - mostly due to injuries. This column appears to be ranked according to no specific order. So, I have to assume it is by order of like. These are guys then that the Colts could draft next year. So, watch them in the coming season: Deon Long, Derrick Lott, Rob Crisp, Gabe Holmes (for you Purdue fans), Marcus Cocker and Prince-Tyson Gulley. Mind you, most of these guys are likely undrafted free agents (from what I am seeing), but the Colts still had them on their board. "C" seems to indicate concussion. "L" indicates an injury.
Have fun digesting all of this. I would love to hear your theories on what it all means.
