I’ve been reading this blog for 4 years now and I want to thank you for your excellent articles. First let me start my appreciation for the true pioneer of the Colts blogging… Brad "I still live in my mama’s basement" Wells:
Thanks Brad Wells, because you bring a lot of real insight to the teams flaws. You are the main critic in this blog. What’s a good blog without some real criticism? So thanks for your articles, while sometimes to "dark" and pessimistic, the still make me want to come back and read them.
So many homer fans can consider you as a hater, but those types of fans tend not to see the flaws in our team, they always visualize the Colts as World champions. And for all of you hardcore Colts fans that are reading this article, please don’t get me wrong, you all are the reason why the Lucas Oil is always full, you are the core in the franchise, "faith in your team" is the main fuel that drives a winning franchise. I consider myself a hardcore fan, but I can still see many flaws in our team (players/positions, coaching and management). I’m still not convinced that Ryan Grigson is an excellent G.M. I believe that the reason he "build a winning franchise" is only because of Luck (no pun intended). Andrew Luck makes his offensive players better, he inspires the defensive players in his team and he helps bringing free agents to Indy because he even go as far as to inspire players from other teams (as examples, see the Hakeem Nicks and D'Qwell Jackson signings this offseason).
Thanks Josh Wilson, for your analytic insight, your positional previews, your news updates and your analysis. You’re all about the statistics, which is essential for football fans. You’re the optimistic blogger (no offense to Brad) in Stampede Blue. You help us fans see the bright side in the not so good news.
Thanks Stephen Reed for your scouting reports. These articles help creating (good or bad) expectations for new Colts players.
And for last, but not least, thanks to all Colts fans out there. As I wrote early we are the driving force of these Stampede Blue and best of all, we are the driving force of our team. Thanks to you all and never forget to be Coltstrong. Go Colts!
