Sitting around on a too hot Saturday drinking a few beers and thinking about the Colts - who said I don't have a productive hobby?
Below I made a table that totals number of draft picks by team between 2010 to 2014 (5 years). I then looked at the number of offensive linemen drafted by each team and generated the percentage of a teams draft picks spent on offensive lineman. This does not factor in the UDFA or FA signings. I have been telling my friends (facetiously) that the Colts need to start drafting nothing but o-lineman and was surprised to see that they already invest more draft picks than any other team (%wise.) When you factor in the Colts have two projected starters from FA signings that tells me they have not done a great job drafting and have had some bad luck (injuries.) Well had a few too many beers - but might wait and look at the rounds of each teams o-lineman or wait till the beginning of the season and look at how many are still on the team? Remember numbers do not lie!
