Does Manning's Throwing Style Lead to Concussions?

Just something I was thinking about when I heard about Welker's most recent concussion. I don't know if it's true of all slot receivers / TEs, but Manning's slot WRs and TEs sure seemed to have serious concussion issues, and I wonder if it has to do with his throwing style. Manning relies so much on timing and placement, and less on the speed of the ball, so it's possible his style gives DBs or LBs more time to run up on the slot receiver and knock their block off. If you think about it Dallas always was getting concussions, same with Collie, Stokley, and now Welker has had 3 in 1 year of playing with Manning. Do people think this is a result of his style of passing, or just really bad luck?
