It's been a busy news day about Colts' assistant to the head coach Rob Chudzinski. This morning NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reported that the St. Louis Rams requested to interview Chudzinski for their offensive coordinator openings, and then later in the day reports from the Chicago Sun-Times' Adam Jahns and from Rapoport reported that the San Francisco 49ers and Chicago Bears have both requested to interview Chud as well:

<blockquote class="twitter-tweet" lang="en"><p>The <a href="https://twitter.com/hashtag/49ers?src=hash">#49ers</a> requested permission to speak with <a href="https://twitter.com/hashtag/Colts?src=hash">#Colts</a> special assistant Rob Chudzinski for OC, source said, like the <a href="https://twitter.com/hashtag/Rams?src=hash">#Rams</a> did earlier</p>— Ian Rapoport (@RapSheet) <a href="https://twitter.com/RapSheet/status/557319939321643009">January 19, 2015</a></blockquote> <script async src="//platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script>
That brings it to three teams reportedly interested in Chudzinski for their offensive coordinator openings. A few days ago, Comcast SportsNet Bay Area's Matt Maiocco reported that Chudzinski was considered the favorite for the job. Since then, it seems as if that may no longer be the case (as it might now be Lane Kiffin) but either way it seems as if Chudzinski is still a possibility there, and the 49ers requesting to interview him confirms that. With the Bears, new head coach John Fox is there to work on the defense, but they need someone to guide an offense that has talent (Jay Cutler, Brandon Marshall, Alshon Jeffrey, Matt Forte, etc.) but really struggled this season.
Colts head coach Chuck Pagano, when asked about the reports of requests to interview Chudzinski, said that he didn't know anything about that, but that doesn't mean these reports aren't true. We'll continue to monitor the situation with Rob Chudzinski as we wait to see where he will end up next season.
