Free Agents I'd like to see Grigson target- Offense

First lets look at positions of need. UPDATED

Offense

WR, RB, OL

Defense

NT, DE, ILB, OLB, S

We'll start with the offensive side of the ball.

RB-Personally, i like the prospects available in the draft and I'd prefer to explore those talents. If we did go into the fa market heres how i look at them.

reggie bush- for the right price as a piece of rbbc he can return and is a match up nightmare. Good weapon for luck.

cj spiller- see above

stevan Ridley- some ball issues but a hard running power back if he comes back from the injury and taking it from a rival. Probably get him cheap.

OL- There is some talent available in the draft, but i see this as a place we can fix in fa whereas some other positions we dont have such atttactive options.

There is more talent here and a couple targets, a lot depends on cherilus.

Orlando Franklin- talent from a strong play off rival, big mean pile mover and solid in pass protection. He's really flourishing since mixing to OG and experience at RT gives him versatility. I'd love to see us get him.

Clint Boling- Very good in all aspects, high quality starter and again OG remains a big position of need.

Justin Blalock- Solid starting OG, over 30 and not really remarkable, but a plug and play that immediately helps solidify the line that could be had for a lower price.

Stefen Wisniewski- Dependable solid starting c and with Rodney Hudson supposedly looking to get a ton of money a guy we might be able to pick up at a reasonable tag. With him and one of the g's above we can turn the o-line to a strength, help keep lucks jersey clean and get a running game going.

todd herremans- versatile, tough guy and a great run blocker has started multiple positions on the o-lisne

WR- Again a position with a lot of depth in the draft and thats where id like to see us go. Hopefully get another year out of Reggie as a solid chain moving possession reciever. id like for us to either get a big wr from the draft, a 2nd or later, such as DGB or Conley from georgia. Either that or a chain mover like dorsett or maybe rashad from fsu.

Torrey Smith- Scary speed, solid number 2 receiver and with him and hilton it'll be hard to keep safeties near the line of scrimmage

Jacoby jones- 3rd wr at best but speedster that can boost our return game as well.

kenny britt- looked like a monsyer in Tennessee at first. then some injuries and off the field issues.. might have settled down in st louis. if healthy and focused he could be what we were looking for in Nicks and still in his 20s.

hartline- solid possession receiver, good hands, runs nice routes, could be a security blanket for Luck and a chain mover

The only thing i think we have to address here is the line. Outside of that, offensively i see wr and rb as strong in the draft and like a lot of prospects there. My names at rb and wr are strictly options if they come at an attractive price.

There was more typing just on this than i expected so im splitting offense and defense into 2 separate posts and im saving the bwst for last because as we all know defense is where we need the most help.
