The Running Back dilemma of the 2017 NFL Draft

It is generally accepted that the posters here expect a RB to be taken in this years draft to be Gore's replacement and the RB of the future. But who? I'm not including Fournette or Cook because I just don't think Ballard will take them, especially because of the glaring holes in the defense. I think Ballard will go BDPA in the 1st round leaving us to pick a RB in the mid rounds, which is fine by me, since this as called a historic and deep class of running backs. Here are a few running backs I would be interested in(I'll also be using NFL.com's draft grade system, and the explanations are below):

Kareem Hunt

Big back with great vision and elusiveness to make the defenders miss tackles. Very patient runner, similar to Le'veon Bell, and finds the best hole. Zone-scheme runner with serviceable hands out of the backfield. GRADE:5.45

Joe Mixon

He’s an explosive athlete who’s a threat to score every time he touches the football. It’s his quick-twitch ability and burst that makes him so dangerous. GRADE: unrated(off-field problems)

Alvin Kamara

Competitive runner who has flashed explosiveness at various times over the last two seasons. A committed runner with excellent balance who finds yardage that isn't blocked for him. GRADE: 5.99

D'Onta Foreman

Big back who has great quickness. His fumbling is a major negative. GRADE:5.76

Samaje Perine

Physical runner but doesn't have too much burst at the 2nd level. GRADE:5.64

Wayne Gallman

Has limited instincts as an interior runner and needs lanes rather than creases, but he's physical enough to bang out tough yardage. GRADE:5.58

Marlon Mack

Has decent size, but doesn't have too much top-end speed. GRADE: 5.54
