Hey all!
While much of our attention is on the Colts’ mini-camp that’s coming up this weekend that will be the conclusion of the team’s offseason program, we also have an announcement to make here: I will be stepping down from Stampede Blue this month.
This wasn’t an easy decision to make at all, as I have loved every minute of covering the Colts, talking with all of our faithful and dedicated members, and living the dream of getting to write about our favorite team (even when the Colts stink, this job is still great).
But as some of you might know, I have also been in seminary for the past few years studying to become a pastor, and as I approach the final year of those studies I will have some cool opportunities to continue to learn and gain experience. Because of that, however, I will not have the time it takes to put into this site or that all of you deserve. I’m incredibly sad to say goodbye, but I’m equally as excited for this next step in my life.
You won’t be getting rid of me right away, however, as I’ll still be around over the next couple of weeks to help ensure that it’s as seamless of a transition as possible. For anyone interested in applying for the lead writer and editor position here, it has been posted online and you can check it out here.
To echo our favorite quarterback, thank you very much from the bottom of my heart; I truly have enjoyed covering the Colts here and interacting with you all. I’m excited to see how the site continues to grow and kick some butt covering the Colts.
Thank you all once again, and Go Colts!
