"I guarantee you one thing: It would be nice to have Matt Stover kicking for us right now. It just didn’t work out," Harbaugh said. "We had a plan all along to bring him back if we needed him, and then the Colts signed him. And there he sits, kicking for the Colts against the Ravens. It’s pretty juicy. I’m looking forward to seeing what happens."

Ugoh's inactivity is not due to injury, it was just a matter of us getting down to the 45 that we needed to function in the game...

This is living art, a passion play that continues year after unforgettable year. It is a book that can't be put down, each chapter more enthralling than the one before.

And here's the thing: They're going to do it again in January. It's their destiny.

You may or may not find this interesting, my son plays defensive back in high school right here in Iowa, his name is Jacob Lacey! Pretty cool huh?

1. Peyton Manning is clutch. He's a champion. He's the heart of the Colts, and for all we know he's coaching them, too. You cannot wager against him, especially in night games. He's the most important player in football. Take Manning off the Colts and they disintegrate into dust. If that's not enough, he has proved to be a likable, engaging guy with a sense of humor. Damn it all.

Bill Simmons lists Peyton as one of the sports-hate guys he can't hate on anymore. Man, I hope this isn't a jinx.

RB Donald Brown (shoulder) -- He practiced two days and then was given Friday off. The thought is that the Colts, again, are being cautious. I would think Brown can play, but if he doesn't, that means he suffered a setback. Still, I expect him to go.

One other tidbit from Caldwell today, WR Anthony Gonzalez doesn't sound as close as we thought he would be. The coach mentioned Gonzo getting another opinion, which is not a good sign. So, for now, don't expect to see Gonzo any time soon.

The rule is already on the books that you can't do it, so it would have to be a point of emphasis,
