PrintWell, I'm off camping for a few days over Labor Day weekend, but don't worry. A gameday thread will be there for the Colts v. Bengals game. Plus, MasterRWayne will post some things.

And as the article states, Vinatieri has a strained ligament, not a broken anything. He's expected to play in the season opener.
Now, if he DOESN'T, that's news. I feel fine about Andrus holding the fort, but I want Adam V back ASAP.

Vinatieri has missed most of preseason with an ankle injury -- his mother said Thursday it's a broken bone, while the Colts maintained it's a sprained ligament.

So the rumors were semi-true. This looks like the kind of injury that won't keep him out but could linger and hinder him for six weeks or so.
