Another team of history the Patriots remind me of.....
There was one other team of history that one can draw parallels too. There was anothe rteam who ran up the score, with a "kick'em HARD when they're down" attitude. A team who looked totally invincible as they rolled over every one in their way to a World Championship.
That team Patriot's fans? The 1941 Nazis........

I'm pretty sure
In case you haven't heard the Colts represent truth, justice and the American way*.
That means you Nazis are in trouble.

bullies
the only QB who has much more than a season's worth of starts is pennington and the jets are HORRIBLE.
let's see how the patriots do when they hit a team who can score back and make it tough in the fourth quarter... after bob sanders hits randy moss he will quit and that puts more pressure on everyone else when the colts can run neck and neck in scoring..

Romo has put up more points than Manning
There is no question the Colts will score against the Pats, thats a no brainer, the question is how much.
I say they have to put up at least 35 or they lose.

not being able to score
Peyton can read new england D much better than a QB with less experience ... grind it out with the run game, and score more points putting a lot more pressure on Brady.. he has seen this defense a lot more than most...and they really haven't changed much other than adding Adalius thomas..
yes, the colts do need to score a lot... but they are averaging probably about the same number of points if you throw out the garbage yards and points when they are running up the score at the end of games ... just compare colts 4th quarter scoring to the patriots.

I think the Nazi...
Is Bellichek a prick? No doubt. But I think his players like him. We aren't in their locker room. Many of their key players would fit in fine with the Colts. There are lots of good stories over there--6th round practice squad fodder makes good rather than ending up doing 3 years and out in the NFL as is the usual case. Brusci's comeback from stroke victim to resume his starting role. Junior Seau retires, changes his mind when the Pats call, breaks his arm and then comes back and is still a major force in the NFL despite his age and all that. Randy Moss is spanked by everyone in the media for his whole career as being a selfish ass. He's gone for sire, the Patriots reform him and now he's the leading receiver in the NFL--which he deserves to be because he is that good.
The NFL defines the ways you are allowed to cheat in getting signals. Bellichek sees that you are allowed to cheat so what does it matter HOW you cheat. Well, says the NFL, you CAN steal signals, just not the way you were doing it. He is hammered with a half million fine. But everyone else has everyone elses signals anyway. Nothing has changed.
The Pats are a respectable team to me. If someone is screwing with head sets, it's not Bellichek. That's nothing he deals with. It's either nobody or some loose wire of a technician.
I hope the Colts stomp the Pats flat Sunday. But I'm not going to pretend they are evil and such. That's a load of crap and I don't see the entertainment factor in it. I would rather discuss the football aspects of it.

Ummmmm
Yes there are some good stories on the Pats. But a couple that you mention are suspect. Seau sold out San Diego trying to get a ring. I can't blame him too much; who knows what we'd do in his shoes. But not exactly a feel-good story. And the irony: would San Diego have won last year if they had Seau? Similarly, Moss was called a selfish ass because he was a selfish ass. He admitted to not trying too hard when the ball wasn't going to him. He was a clubhouse cancer. So now he -- again trying to get a ring -- is reborn. Woohoo. Good for him. I hope he never intentionally lets down the paying fans and his teammates again. But not exactly a feel-good story.
As far as the signals thing goes, rules are rules. We may not like them. We may think they're silly. But we're not allowed to follow those we agree with and disregard the rest. Try that where you work and see how well it is received. Goodell sent a memo to all teams at the beginning of the season warning about repercussions for videotaping. The Pats had been warned about it in the past. They did it anyway. They paid the price. If you don't like the system, I'm sorry. But I have no sympathy for a team that breaks the rules, particularly after being warned during previous incidents.
As far as the headset thing goes, I don't care who's responsible for the headsets going out. This is not the first time it's happened. In fact it has now happened over multiple seasons. Yes that's right, the dreaded PATTERN OF BEHAVIOR. If it's Belichick, that's more proof of his dickdom. If it's someone else responsible -- who cares? Do the Patriots benefit or not benefit depending on who's responsible?
I do agree with you on one point however: I hope the Colts stomp the Pats flat on Sunday.

The Patriot Way
The Pats, ironically, abandoned their own philosophy for a shot at another ring. Corey Dillon was rapidly turning into a cancer, so he left. They brought in Stallworth, who was stuck in Philly with a rapidly deteriorating Eagles team. They brought in Welker, who was buried down in Miami. And they brought in Moss, who would have languished in Oakland until he either retired or got traded. And for the record, the only other team that Moss would be nearly as good on would have been the Colts, but we didn't need him. Finally, you've got Adalius Thomas, the marquee defensive free agent, who was coming from a Ravens team that got spanked at home by the Colts in the playoffs. You have Seau, who retired and then came back for a shot at a ring.
The Patriots are comprised of mercenaries, a collection of players that were okay elsewhere but who bought into the mystique of a club that ran on pure luck and Adam Vinatieri's foot. The problem is that the Pats stupidly let Vinatieri walk, and then he signed with their biggest rival. And you can't tell me that he didn't do that on purpose.
Sorry folks, but the Patriot Way is dead.
