Stampede Blue meet and greet!

Master R Wayne and I managed to swing tickets to the Texans game this Sunday, and we plan to do a little tail gating before the game. However, I realize (since the game is meaningless) that many might sell their tickets. Also, it is holiday time, and some just don't want to schlep all the way downtown on a Sunday when there is last minute X-Mas shopping to do.

So, I have an alternative.

If folks want to have a little meet and greet, I'm open to meet up at a bar, or the like, this Thursday (December 20th). Pittsburgh plays St. Louis this Thursday on NFL Network, and if folks want to gather to watch this game (and talk about the Colts), I'm down for it. If I get my ass organized, I might even have some Stampede Blue shirts to hand out.

Are people down for this kind of thing?

Where?
Any idea where this might go down?  I'm guessing either Broad Ripple or downtown.

Yes
Either north side or Broad Ripple. Sorry, but I just don't want to go downtown Thursday night, especially if it's snowing.

It won't be. Weather is supposed to be nice (for winter that is).

Acceptable Venues
B Dubs is always good.  Chumley's has a pretty good t.v. setup these days too.  As far as the north side, the Ale Emporium's back room is really good to watch a game.  Scotty's is a favorite also.  I suppose we could go to the Blue Crew bar.  (I've never hung out there, just b/c every time I've tried, it's been packed to the gills).

It's pretty smooth
They have fantastic food, and a great beer selection.  The back room has several large plasmas on the walls, and they have shuffleboard.

Start at the Ale...
but you know you are gonna end up at Brad's Gold Club so let's just cut to the chase.  Anybody planning on tailgaiting before the game anyway?

Sadly
I am busy on Thursdays so I would not be able to make it.

If anyone is still doing a tailgate get together, let me know. I can still hopefully make it to that.
