Clark Judge says something really stupid
CBS' Clark Judge, normally a good columnist, is pretty stupid right here:

Maybe....
Regardless, this Colts team is too veteran of a team now to go into Gillete with a little fear.
Say, should Jessica Simpson and her master....err I mean father, still attend Cowboys games?

Outdoor practice
Even though the Colts are a dome team, do they have an outdoor practice field to prepare for bad/cold weather games? The Pats have a covered practice field but will venture outside prior to a crappy weather matchup.

judge is an idiot
This latest thing amuses me for so many reasons:
-as stated, they beat baltimore on the road
-they won a SB in the worst weather for a SB and pretty bad weather for ANY game...and did it vs a team that plays outdoors. Also, they became the first dome team to win a SB so how does that not trump getting there?
-a past trend is just that- a past trend. One would think a human being could grasp this but hey, I guess not.
-the 2007 Colts are not the dome teams of the past that lost outdoors in AFC finals.
-I love those who act like NE is some magical team and can do well in poor weather like the past Pats teams. One would think recent games have shown they lick balls in less than ideal weather but apparently media morons like Judge have ignored that. The Baltimore game, the Jets game...how do these not point to the obvious fact that NE is at a disadvantage if the weather is poor? Brady got outplayed in both those games and Maroney sucks. The only reason they won both is because both the jets and ravens suck. Does anyone truly think that if they play a team that is actually good that they'll win in poor weather? The Jags would probably destroy NE if the weather was poor since they'd run it down their throats. Almost every other afc playoff team should easily run wild on NE if the weather calls for that gameplan.
-Judge acts like the dome disadvantage is partly because of the surface when as we know the Pats now have FieldTurf so there is no diff there. I have this in my back/front yard. The weather means jackshit to it.
