He's won, like, 5 billion of these things already, right?
Peyton Manning this past Sunday had one of his best statistical games of the season as the Colts took a major step toward the postseason.
Ok, only 16. It's not 5 billion, but it's not bad.
On Wednesday, Manning was honored for the effort.
Manning, the Colts' seven-time Pro Bowl quarterback, on Wednesday was named the AFC's Offensive Player of the Week. It is his first such honor this season and the 16th of his career.
He is the fourth Colts player to win AFC Player of the Week honors this season, with defensive end Dwight Freeney and safety Bob Sanders each being named AFC Defensive Player of the Week and running back Joseph Addai being named AFC Offensive Player of the Week.
