well look at how our two attempts at shoring up our line from the outside have gone... corey simon.. big bucks, and little production and gone due to health issues... and now booger... gone for the year on IR.  Not a great track record.  Can you blame them for trying to do it from the inside... watching the preseason game, our run defense didn't look bad... I believe it was ed johnson on the inside who made a couple of good plays.  Marion Barber didn't look too happy on the first two series he played...
