Colts win! Colts 30-Texans 24

Once again, the Colts defense ends the game with a great stop. Big props to the Texans, who should have been blown out at home. But they hung in there and made it a game. Full recap later.

Happy family
Just thought I'd post a link to a picture of me and my kids watching the game:

Did u notice
Ever notice how quiet the two colt's safeties are (Sanders and Bethea combine for 5 tackles) when our linebacking corps (with Keiaho in) play well? Seems as though better linebackers equal less plays that have to be made by the safeties which should result in less injuries.

officiating
is it just me or did the officiating absolutely stink in this game...

how did they not catch that offside near the goal line....  it was so blatant.

I wonder if the refs have a hard on for us since polian and dungy sit on the competition committee..

has the nfl told refs not to call holding anymore...

I wonder if the NFL is getting tired of dungy sending tapes of bad calls to the league office yet.

oh,  and i think i will be really sick of the patriots soon... this 'brady is on pace to break peyton's TD record' makes me puke.  the teams they have played have  no pass defense...

Everything is Bigger in Texas
Including the hurdles!

DeMarcus Faggins?  More like DeMarcus Flownover.

It was like watching this but:

  1. It was real
  2. He initiated the jump
  3. He cleared the jump
  4. He scored a touchdown...and style points.

Special Teams AGAIN...
What is the deal?

We start again down 7 because of kickoff coverage...

We keep overcoming it, but it will kill us sooner or later.

Go Colts!

Last year v. This year
The Colts have already won two games they lost last season, @Titans and @ Texans. This is what we need. Win the games we should, then we can take on the top AFC teams.
