The schedule come out just two weeks ago, and already the Colts have sold out the entire 2006 regular season. I remember when you could show up to the dome on gameday and buy good seats at the box office. I remember when they used to black out games locally. This is truly amazing.
By contrast, despite a 12-4 record and a trip to the playoffs for the first time since the Clinton administration, nobody in Jacksonville cares about the Jaguars in '06. The Los Angeles Jaguars has a nice ring to it.
In other news, Gilbert Gardner is ready to start at SSLB. He'll replace David Thornton, who left via free agency to play for the Titans. Gardner will more than replace Thornton on the field. Thornton's leadership on defense might be harder to replace.
Also, you'll notice to the left along the blog roll that we have a Colts news feed set up! The tech guys at SBNation make this possible, and we send them a warm thank you from the folks in Blue Shoe Land.
