I've had to disable anonymous posting for a time because we've been hit with a rash of trolls. For those that don't know what a "troll" is:
If you wish to post comments about anything written here, or have a diary you've written moved to the main "news" section, please create an account. It takes two seconds, and only requires an email for verification.
Even if your comments disagree with an opinion written here, such comments are always welcome. When you see me posting about how I hate a particular article, it is most often not because I disagree with the writer's opinion.
Dissent is appreciated and welcome. Laziness isn't.
Writers like Jeremy Green and Don Pierson are lazy, and their opinions are not well researched or thought out. The reason I bash people like this is because they are paid a lot of money to write about sports. Because of this, I have very, very high expectations, and when I see laziness from people like this, I bash them into submission.
So, if you want to write a diary or post comments that say the Colts are not as good this year as they were last year, please do. You might indeed be right. However, if you simply post "They suck, and everyone knows it expect you!"-- well, that's trolling, and I'm going to delete stuff like that, especially if the post has insults.
I hope this makes things clear for everyone. Please continue to post, and tell us what you think of the Colts and the NFL. Your comments and opinions are always appreciated. Blogs like this are not just about me ranting and raving about this or that. They work best when folks like you offer your opinions, especially if they are dissenting.
Thanks, and GO COLTS!
