For the second time in three weeks, an Indianapolis Colts player was honored with Special Teams Player of the Week. This time Colts kick returner Terrence Wilkins won the award. His 82 yard punt return for a TD against the Jags broke their back and turned the momentum in Indy's favor.
Remember back before training camp when I talked about the need for a better returning option than Troy Walters? Terrence has turned into that option. He is a legitemate threat to break one for a TD. Walters never did that.
Special teams have carried this team the first three weeks of the season. What was once a weakness is now a strength.
