An Olive Branch on behalf of BCC...

I love your state... I lived in Indianapolis for 6 years when I was young... I actually lived down the street from Jeff George's family when he was the Indy QB and always throwing off his back foot. I watched Eric Dickerson hit the holes faster than any other running back in his time, or even since. I loved the Colts up until 1995 when the Jags moved to Jacksonville (where I was living at the time). I just wanted to say that I think your state has some fantastic offerings... Here's a list of my favorites and I'd love to hear what you guys think of them.

I went to EVERY Indy 500 while I lived there and LOVED RICK MEARS!! His Yellow Indycar always seemed to win, and those race in particular got me hooked on Indy Racing.

After Mississippi… It’s my favorite place I’ve lived…

There was a yearly festival (don’t know if it still goes on) around harvest time that was HUGE!! It was like half the state came out for it and there was a reenactment of the entire Icabod Crane story with the headless horsemen and all… My BEST memories as a Kid were from Indy…

Every year there was a neighborhood santa who would give out presents to all the kids on after the first big snowstorm of the season when everything was white… I loved the state…

There was a big downtown that had a train station and lots of video-arcades... Downtown (something.... wish I could remember... it's been almost 20 years since I lived there)....

Sorry about last nights fiasco... Terry didn't mean any offense, although it may have seemed like it... I think he was just poking fun (although it may not have come off like that.). He's a really kindhearted individual and perhaps the most level headed of all the BCC writers (although that's not saying much... haha). Just please accept our apolagy for the incident last night... we're all family on SBN, especially in the offseason. Now, should your Colts sweep us next year (or Vice Versa), then we may talk a little smack... :)
