Two promising drives for the Colts ended with turnovers inside the Jags 30. The Jags turned the second into a FG after a goal-to-go stand by the D. The Colts O finally converted on their 3rd drive with a Joseph Addai touchdown. In the following drive Jags two minute O drove down to the edge of FG range, a 46 yard attempt brought the Jags within one. A very solid Simpson return set up a 1 minute drill that died at midfield due to some tough catches not being hauled in followed by conservative play calling. A 63 yard FG attempt by Scobee to end the half fell short and right.

The Colts O is moving the ball well (Pat McAfee has appeared only once, to hold an extra point), but they need to avoid turnovers to keep converting those yards into points. On the defensive side the D is giving up yards but limiting the points. About all we can hope from a D missing Bob and Big Ed, with Marlin Jackson limited.

Anthony Gonzalez went down with a knee injury early on the 1st half. His return is questionable.
