And Now We Have The 911 Call Audio That Got Colts Punter Pat McAfee Arrested - UPDATE McAfee Suspended 1 Game

Indianapolis NBC affiliate WTHR is making a killing today. Not only are Technical Directors who work for them exploding rumors of Dallas Clark's injury all over Twitter, but now the WTHR-13 website has the audio up of the 911 call by an unidentified woman who saw Colts punter Pat McAfee walking around the Broadripple area at 5am 'soaking wet with no shirt on.'

Pat apparently tried to get into the woman's car. She drove away before he could, and called 911.

Audio of the 911 call here

From WTHR's website:

The woman took off and called police. Police say they found McAfee and that he told them he was looking for a cab. They believe he had been swimming in the canal.

Maybe Pat thought the lady's car was a cab. Who knows. I'll give Pat this much: At least he didn't try to drive home.

Seriously, the more you look at the police report details, Pat's lucky to be alive. He was drunk and, allegedly, swimming in the Broadripple Canal when it was near freezing outside. He had no shirt on. He could have died of exposure.

Pat was released from jail at around noon today. The misdemeanor charge against him was not dismissed. McAfee is due back in court this Friday.

UPDATE (mgrex03)According to JMV on 1070 The Fan, McAfee has been suspended one game for his arrest.  Official Statement from Colts President Bill Polian:

After verifying the relevant facts, we today have suspended Pat McAfee for one game for conduct detrimental to the club. The suspension will take effect on Monday, October 25 and will run through the Houston game on Monday, November 1. We will have no further comment at this time.
