Brandon Spikes, LB - Florida

The Patriots are definitely getting younger at linebacker. Jerod Mayo is doing a great job back there and is nothing less than a stud in my opinion. Many people believe Brandon Spikes ran himself out of the first and second round. His 40 time is slow. But Spikes is quick not fast. Belichick knows this. He is too good of an athlete regardless of his speed to drop so far.

How will he impact the 2010 Patriots?

He won't make too big of an impact due to Bill Belichick not starting rookies a whole lot. He might go into the rotation later in the season. Could definitely be used on running downs.
