Yeah, Ben Roethlisberger is a scum bag

After reading the police report, it's pretty obvious that Ben Roethlisberger is a scum bag. I cannot possibly see how this guy can be the Steelers starting QB in 2010. If he is, all this stuff about the Steelers being a an organization that wins "the right way" is nothing but utter crap.

If you are a Steelers fan, I don't see how you can root for this dude with a clear conscience. I really do mean this, and I sincerely hope you believe me: If our own quarterback, Peyton Manning, did something like this, I'd want him cut from the Colts. Not traded. Not suspended. C-U-T.

As a paying fan, I'm willing to take 5-10 years of losing. What I will not do is pay money to see or cheer for someone who acts this way. Maybe this makes me sound high and mighty. I really don't care. I have a conscience, and that little voice tells me what Ben supposedly did was very, very wrong.

With these new revelations, I fully expect Roethlisberger to get suspended 8 games by either the NFL or the Steelers organization. This means the Steelers are done for 2010. If I'm the Steelers and the Rooney family, I'm doing everything I can to get the dude off the team.

Also, with this new information, I eagerly await Jason Fagone's GQ article slamming him as a law violator the way he did Marvin Harrison. However, unlike the Harrison incident (which involved Harrison supposedly shooting a convicted felon in the hand after said felon was thrown out of a bar), Roethlisberger is a white QB for a major NFL franchise who seems to prey upon and mistreat women.

If Fagone has any integrity, his GQ article on Roethlisberger will be in the next issue. Somehow, I doubt we will see it.
