Matt and I have our picks posted on SB Nation Indiana. Here's a few that we made:
Matt:
Chiefs (+3) at Colts, 1:00 PM, CBS: Two of the worst teams play in a "Andrew Luck Bowl", where the loser has an inside track at the #1 pick in the NFL draft. There's no doubt the players won't be thinking this way, and the Colts have shown enough of a pulse that they should be able to take care of business at home against a Chiefs team that got their first victory of the season last week against the Vikings. Colts 27, Chiefs 21
Brad:
Some are suggesting this game will determine who drafts Standford QB Andrew Luck with the first pick in next year's NFL Draft. Both teams have been terrible this season thus far. Major disappointments. Yes, injures have hurt both clubs, but KC's defense is giving up 31 ppg and Indy's offense is anemic without Peyton Manning. The Colts are at home, which gives them an edge.
Pick: Colts
Amazingly, the best games of the week (on paper) in the AFC feature the Raiders at Texans and the Titans at Steelers. If the Titans win that game and go to 3-1, they are very much a 'for real' team. Raiders are likely to be VERY motivated to beat the Texans after the passing of Al Davis yesterday.
Matt went Texans and Titans. I went Texans and Steelers.
