NFL Lockout: Owners Agree To Extend Deadline To March 11

PFT is reporting that the NFL owners executive committee has voted to extend the expiration of the current labor deal by one week, from March 4th until March 11th. If is a HUGE development because, in all likelihood, this means that some kind of new CBA will get hammered out between now and March 11th. Both sides would not have agreed on a new deadline if they didn't feel something could get worked out.

For the first time... well, really EVER, we have some hope that these idiot owners won't screw up our beloved league. Hopefully, what both sides agree upon is something we fans can truly cheer for.
