2011 NFL Preseason: Indianapolis Colts At St. Louis Rams- Open Thread

The first game thread of the year. Always a fun article to publish. In case you care, we did our first game thread for this blog back in August 2006. That's 21 preseason game threads since then. Kind of cool.

Sitting out tonight's game are Joe Horn, Jamey Richard, Ernie Sims, Fili Moala, Jaimie Thomas, Jamaal Anderson, Dwight Freeney, DeMario Pressley, Brody Eldridge, Blair White (PUP), and Peyton Manning (PUP).

For those of you longing for a T.J. Houshmandzadeh update, all I got is this from Rich Smith which says that the two sides have negotiated a deal, but the deal is not 'confirmed' or 'official.' If the deal happens, it will likely get announced on Monday.

Really, at this point, I'd kind of be a little shocked if Housh isn't signed.

Players I'm focusing on tonight include Curtis Painter, Dan Orlovsky, Drake Nevis, and Kevin Thomas. If you plan to focus on a player or players, let us know in the comments and we will include your observations in our post-game write-ups.
