The Week Eight Power Rankings don't see much of a change at the top this week, with the top 3 spots remaining exactly the same. The Texans jumped back up to fourth after their dismantling of the Ravens, and the Giants dropped a bit after barely beating the Redskins at home.
The Colts dropped two spots to 25th after their 17-13 win against the Browns, which has more to do with not playing well against a bad opponent than anything. The Offense moved up to 17th from 20th, but the Defense dropped five spots to 29th, only ahead of the Titans, Bills, and Saints.
The Giants and Patriots remain atop the Offensive Rankings, while the Bears and Cardinals top the Defensive Rankings. Nothing really jumps out at me as odd, so let me know if you think something seems a bit off.

Once again there is a chasm between the NFC and AFC, as the bottom eight teams are all in the AFC, and 11 of the bottom 13 as well. During the Peyton Manning hey-dey, the AFC dominated, but it was never to this extent. I also have a future Strength of Schedule, and all the NFC teams are at the top, and all the AFC teams are in the bottom half, something I've definitely never seen. The Colts are at 27th overall, while the Vikings have the toughest remaining schedule and the Broncos have the easiest remaining schedule.
