The man who was the toast of the NFL media on Friday, Robert Griffin III, has not only wowed people with his personality and bravado in Indianapolis, but with his physical abilities as well. His height was measured a 6'2 and 3/8 when he arrived, making him tall enough for most scouts concerned he was too short to play quarterback.
Today, Griffin ran the 40, and his first timed speed was pretty damn impressive.
RG3 just posted a 4.41. Foles ran a 5.15.

Amazingly, the timing of the run could have been better, as Mocking the Draft's Dan Kadar and our own Matt Grecco point out:
As @mgrex03 points out, RG3 didn't run straight. He started to the right. Not that it matters much, he can get below 4.4.

There is no doubting RG3's tremendous physical skills. He can throw like Elway, and he can run like Vick.
When Griffin ran the 40 the second time, it was even better.
And now RG3 just hit a 4.38.

The word '"freak" gets thrown around a bit too much when evaluating players in the NFL.
RG3 is, indeed, a freak.
