Robert Griffin III has refused to take part in any private workouts with teams prior to the draft. However, he will agree to meet with specific a team in Washington DC.
Last week, it was reported that the Redskins coaching staff is visiting with Griffin twice per week in Texas. Now, per WUSA9.com (via PFT), Griffin is visiting with the Redskins today in D.C.
The intrigue now is whether or not Griffin will visit the Colts in Indianapolis. According to PFT, Mike Florio's source "with knowledge of the situation" says the Colts have not yet extended an invitation to Griffin for a pre-draft trip to Naptown.
If they do extend such an invitation to RG3, and he turns them down, that would pretty much be an unfiltered f**k you from the Griffin Camp to Jim Irsay and the Colts brass.
In the end, it's almost pointless to cover anything pertaining to RG3 and the Colts. The only reason I'm writing about it here is because there is a chance Griffin could snub a visit to Indy, and if he does, Colts fans and players will remember that. Griffin has already taken a bit of a P.R. hit for, essentially, chickening out on a private workout request, a request Andrew Luck was more than willing to grant not just to the Colts but to the Redskins as well.
Thus, Luck is the unquestioned No. 1 overall prospect, and RG3 is No. 2.
Speaking of Andrew Luck, he is visiting the Colts in Indianapolis today.
