New outplayed old Sunday night, when current Colts quarterback Andrew Luck played better overall than former Colts quarterback (and current Broncos gunslinger) Peyton Manning. Luck led the Colts to four touchdowns, tossed for 228 yards, completed 55% of his passes, and had no turnovers. It was a defining game for Luck, and for the Colts franchise overall.
Not surprisingly, the second-year quarterback - who is already a very viable league MVP candidate - was awarded the AFC Offensive Player of the Week award for Week 7.
Luck has completed 60% of his passes this season for 1,574 yards, 10 passing TDs, 3 rushing TDs, and only 3 INTs.
