2013 NFL Winning Stats Predictor: Week 5 Picks

Still going strong. Who are we picking in Week 5? Find out from the Winning Stats.

Phil Sears-USA TODAY Sports

While it wasn't as good as the previous two weeks, the Winning Stats Predictor had a close-to-average 7-8 week last week against the spread, bringing the season total to 33-27-3 (still winning money!). Picking games straight up was a decent 10-5, bringing that total to 41-22. Not too shabby.

A couple more byes this week, and this week it looks to be road-heavy, especially with 4-0 teams playing at 3-1 teams. Should be some good games. Onto the picks:

Home Score Away Score Probability
Browns 17 Bills 19 56.6%
Dolphins 17 Ravens 23 63.5%
Rams 21 Jaguars 18 59.0%
Titans 21 Chiefs 16 61.2%
Giants 21 Eagles 23 57.1%
Colts 23 Seahawks 27 59.7%
Bears 17 Saints 26 73.0%
Bengals 15 Patriots 25 75.9%
Packers 26 Lions 25 52.2%
Cardinals 17 Panthers 28 75.3%
Cowboys 24 Broncos 31 66.8%
Raiders 23 Chargers 29 65.1%
49ers 18 Texans 21 58.2%
Falcons 23 Jets 24 50.1%

Supercontest picks went 3-2 last week, bringing that season record to 12-8. I'm telling you I'll take 3-2 each and every week. This weeks picks:

  • Lions +7 at Packers
  • Patriots +2 at Bengals
  • Saints PK at Bears
  • Panthers -2 at Cardinals
  • Texans +6.5 at 49ers
