Tonight, the Indianapolis Colts take on their AFC South rival Houston Texans in Houston. Unfortunately, they will be without Reggie Wayne because of a torn ACL suffered in the fourth quarter of the win over the Broncos.
But it turns out they won't be completely without him. Just nine days after undergoing surgery on his torn ACL, Reggie Wayne is in Houston tonight to support the Colts in their big Sunday Night Football contest. He was spotted on the sidelines during warmups, without crutches.

Chuck Pagano made sure that he emphasized that though the Colts would be without Reggie on the field, they would still have him around and still have his leadership there - even saying that they would wheel him into the meeting room if they needed to. Reggie Wayne was still going to be around and was still going to be involved.
But nobody thought he would be in attendance for this game tonight. That's incredibly impressive and very awesome. It's great to see him doing well. Chuck Pagano said Friday that, "if you can be ahead of schedule one week in, he's ahead," and that "he's gonna become another coach, so to speak, right now."
This is just another sign that Reggie will be back (despite some wondering whether retirement was an option) and it is great to see. Hopefully he's there to see a win.
