Take this with a grain of salt, but our good friend George Bremer says this guy is more often right than not:
Cliff Avril has the interest of at least four teams.I only know 3 out of 4. Colts, Browns . Bucs

I say "grain of salt" because I don't really know Pro Football Central, but I do agree with George Bremer that Indianapolis' interest in Avril makes sense. I personally think the Colts should focus on Avril and not get into a bidding war for Ravens pass rusher Paul Kruger.
But, hey, that's just my little ole opinion.
Avril has just been consistently better than Kruger over the years. I know some are ringing their hands over this whole "can Avril play linebacker" thing. Yes, he can. He's done it before.
This is not like Dwight Freeney, who had NEVER played linebacker prior to the the attempted position switch in 2012. Freeney was also 32-years-old last season and clearly not the player he once was. Avril is 26, athletic, and would fit in perfectly as the hybrid DE-OLB in Chuck Pagano's system.
Personally, I feel a lot better about the Colts looking to get a guy like Avril, who averaged 10 sacks over the last three seasons, than someone like Kruger, who had a career year last season with only 9 sacks.
Again, just my little ole opinion there.
