We posted yesterday about Jeff Saturday telling Indianapolis Star columnist Bob Kravitz that his one career regret was the Colts not going for the perfection season in 2009, opting instead to quit in the middle of a Week 16 game against the Jets and, thus, losing.

Today, we have Kravitz's full article, which touches upon Saturday's entire career including his favorite game, his best moments, why he is retiring now, and what the future has in store.

I won't give too much away in this write-up because that would simply be unfair to Bob. Go read the article, if you can. The one thing I'll spill is this little bit of information:

Saturday will be a Colt "player" for only one more day, but he will be a Colt for a very long time. The organization is interested in making him part of its front office, probably in some kind of community-relations spot, where he can continue to do the franchise’s good works.

So, even though Jeff Saturday is retiring as a player today at noon eastern time, it seems we have not seen the last of No. 63 working for the Indianapolis Colts.
