State of the Team: Indianapolis Colts - Football Outsiders
Andy Benoit of FO gives the Colts their "State of the Team" treatment, and he is not kind in his roster evaluation. Regarding the nine new players signed as free agents, Benoit gave Gosder Cherilus, LaRon Landry, Aubrayo Franklin, and Erik Walden "adequate" grades while Donald Thomas and Greg Toler got "just a guy" grades. In case you care, I've known Andy for a while and have always enjoyed his work.
Retired players: Vote EA Sports as worst company in America - The Nixon Report

Tampa Bay Buccaneers mid-90s teams were bad, but built a successful GM tree - SI.com
Don Banks writes a great article on the front office "tree" in Tampa Bay and how it produced some of the more successful personnel executives in the NFL.
