Well, it looks like we didn't need the great Tony Pauline to break this bit of news for us:
Kicking it n Indy with the Colts instagram.com/p/X-l5RSij6h/
— Jarvis Jones (@SacManJones_29) April 11, 2013
In case you don't feel like clocking on that Instagram link, that's Georgia linebacker Jarvis Jones' official Twitter account. He tweeted that he is indeed in Indy, and he apparently likes the stage and podium set-up at the Indiana Farm Bureau Center.
Based on this, we can assume Jones is at the Farm Bureau Center to visit with the Indianapolis Colts as part of a pre-draft workout and/or meeting.
Jones is a talented 6'2, 242 lb. outside linebacker known for his excellent pass rushing skills. He had 85 tackles, 14.5 sacks, 7 forced fumbles, and one pick in 2012 for the Bulldogs. The knock against him is he reportedly isn't a hard worker. He also had a poor showing at his Pro Day. He ran a snail-like 4.9 40 at that Pro Day, which prompted reactions like this from NFL Network's Mike Mayock:
"I think a 4.9 is a red flag," Mayock said. "I talked to a lot of coaches and scouts and they all said the same thing: ‘Wow. A lot slower than we expected.’"
Thanks to Jake Arthur of the Colts blog True Blue Fans for the head's up on Jones' tweet.
