We are almost exactly four months away from the start of the preseason for the NFL and the Indianapolis Colts. The league has announced the schedule for the preseason along with the teams the Colts will face in August 2013:
Week 1: Home against the Buffalo Bills (game will be played between 8/8-8/12)
Week 2: At the New York Giants (8/18 on FOX at 8 p.m.)
Week 3: Home against the Cleveland Browns (game will be played between 8/22-8/25)
Week 4: At the Cincinnati Bengals (game will be played between 8/29-8/30)
The Week 2 match-up with the Giants will be a primetime game featuring Andrew Luck and Eli Manning. The Week 3 game, which is typically used as a tune-up for the regular season because starters play well into the third quarter, is against the Browns and their new coaching regime headed by Rob Chudzinski.
The contest against Cincy is the 11th time the two clubs have meet in preseason play. I'm sure this has nothing to do with the fact that Cincy and Indy are only 112 miles apart.
