Indianapolis Colts head coach Chuck Pagano had a conference call with season ticket holders last night and in it he revealed that the Colts players will report to training camp at Anderson University on Saturday, July 27.
We had known for a few weeks that the team was officially returning to Anderson for the fifth year in a row, and now we know when exactly they will return.
Camp this year will feature many interesting postion battles, which we will certainly look at in depth as the offseason progresses. In fact, this normally wouldn't even be that newsworthy except for the fact that, you know, there's nothing else really going on.
So there you have it, folks. The Colts will officially report to Anderson University on July 27, 2013 for training camp. I hope to get down for a few days at least for camp. How many of you will be in attendance?
For more from Pagano's conference call, check up this recap from Mike Chappell of the Indy Star. It includes quotes from Coach Pagano on subjects such as a sophomore slump, a new offensive system (as if we hadn't heard him talk enough about this already), the Colts' draft class, and the team's expecations for the year (hint: it has something to do with a shiny silver trophey at the end of the year). Give it a read because, you know, there's not much else to read at the moment.
