Moala had missed all of training camp and both preseason games thus far.

The Colts have activated defensive end Fili Moala from the physically unable to perform list (P.U.P.), via Jim Irsay's Twitter handle.

Moala can now practice with the team and may be available to play in the Colts' third preseason game. The Colts do not need to make a roster adjustment as Moala was already counted as part of their 90-man roster. Rosters are cutdown to 75 on August 27th.

The fifth-year defensive lineman is battling with Drake Nevis, Ricardo Mathews, Lawrence Guy, and Kellen Heard for one of the remaining spots in Chuck Pagano's 3-4 defense. Moala was drafting by the previous front office regime to play defensive tackle, but at USC he was used more as a defensive end and in Pagano's scheme Moala looked passable last season.

Moala was re-signed in March to a one-year deal. He was a second round pick for the Colts in 2009 and has 40 career tackles and two sacks.
