Options at Running Back

Everybody knows about Ballard so I'll cut to the chase. I've heard Willis McGahee and Michael Turner mentioned as free agents we should sign. Personally, I don't care for either one, and Irsay's tweet seems to indicate if we look for somebody it will be through a trade. So what about trade options.

I would love Ben Tate, but 1)his value would be extremely high (probably a 2nd or 3rd rounder), 2)Houston wouldn't trade him to their division rival, and 3)They need Tate as insurance for when/if Foster goes down with another injury. I've heard Mikel Leshoure mentioned, but he doesn't intrigue me much, as he has went from 1st string to 3rd string in Detroit. Toby Gerhart from Minnesota doesn't excite me much either.

Another option would be Knowshon Moreno of the Denver Broncos. Denver has 3 running backs battling for playing time, and Montee Ball is the future at the position, so I would assume either Moreno or Ronnie Hillman would be available at the right price. Delone Carter is a name that keeps coming up, seeing as how he knows the system. Or for all the Madden fans out there we could go big or go home and trade for MJD or McFadden.

I would say the most likely outcome is Bradshaw and Brown split most of the carries, with Kerwynn Williams possibly getting a little time here and there, and we utilize our FB (Stanley Havili) a bit more. Overall, I think the obvious answer is Tim Tebow. What say you?
