Colts Add RB Miguel Maysonet To Practice Squad, Schedule WR Richard Goodman For Workout

The Colts have updated their practice squad with a running back and might be looking to update their roster with yet another kick returner.

Per Mike Wilkening at PFT, the Colts have added former Browns running back Miguel Maysonet to their practice squad. The Colts had an opening on the squad after they promoted rookie running back Kerwynn Williams to the active roster following Vick Ballard's season-ending ACL injury last week.

The Colts are also looking into a kick returner, possibly as a result of David Reed's lingering concussion. Aaron Wilson is reporting that the Colts plan to workout former Chargers wide receiver Richard Goodman. Goodman went undrafted out of Florida State in 2010. He spent three seasons with the Chargers.

During the 2011 season, Goodwan returned a kick 101 yards for a score against the Oakland Raiders. In 2011 and 2012, Goodwan was San Diego's primary kick returner. His 27.6 yards per return the last two seasons make him the fourth player in the league in that category.

Goodwan did not survive the Chargers' 53-man roster cutdown in early September of this year. Current Colts Vice President of Football Operations Jimmy Raye used to work in the San Diego front office before joining the Colts this past offseason.
