Rogers adds an intriguing prospect to the Colts' 2013 practice squad.

The Colts reached an injury settlement with wide receiver Nathan Palmer, releasing him from the team's injured reserve list. Palmer hurt his knee in the third preseason game against the Browns, and was a longshot to make the team's 53-man roster even when healthy.

Indianapolis also added free agent wide receiver Da'Rick Rogers to their practice squad on Monday. Rogers played his college ball at Tennessee Tech after two seasons at the University of Tennessee. He transferred to Tech in 2012 following several failed drug tests at Tennessee.

Rogers was signed by the Buffalo Bills in April after going undrafted, but was cut from Buffalo's roster this weekend.

At 6-3, 205 pounds, Rogers is a big target. In three seasons, Rogers caught 139 receptions for 2,100 yards and 21 touchdowns for the Vols and Golden Eagles.
