The Indianapolis Colts announced some roster moves Tuesday morning. The team has signed offensive tackle Xavier Nixon to their 53-man roster from the Washington practice squad. Nixon was an undrafted player from the University of Florida in the 2013 NFL Draft. He is 6'6, 314 pounds.
His signing likely means that Samson Satele (elbow) is likely to miss another game. This will put Mike McGlynn at center again and slide normal reserve tackle Jeff Linkenbach to right guard.
The Colts brought back defensive end Lawrence Guy, adding him to their 53. Guy's signing suggests Ricky Jean Francois' groin injury could keep him out of the Jacksonville game next week along with Satele.
No word yet on which two players were removed from the 53-amn active roster. As of this writing, the Colts have 55 players listed.
