Colts starting defensive end Ricky Jean Francois (groin) was ruled OUT for Sunday's pivotal AFC South match-up with the Jaguars. RJF was one of general manager Ryan Grigson's big signings over the offseason, along with Ahmad Bradshaw and LaRon Landry.
Interestingly, both Bradshaw and Landry are also OUT for Sunday's game.
Between the three of them, that's $17,750,000 in guaranteed money sitting on the bench on Sunday. Bet that makes owner Jim Irsay feel as though it was money well spent.
Replacing RJF will likely be Fili Moala, a five-year veteran who re-signed with the Colts for one year at $850,000. none of his salary is guaranteed.
