Colts second-year tight end Dwayne Allen injured his hip Sunday in the third quarter of Indianapolis' 21-17 come-from-behind victory over the Oakland Raiders. Allen landed awkwardly trying to snag a pass from Andrew Luck down the middle. Chuck Pagano in his post-game press conference said Allen "kind of landed wrong" and injured his hip on the play.
Pagano then told the media on Monday that Allen's MRI on his hip came back negative, and that Allen will be in for treatment on Tuesday with the expectation that he'll practice on Wednesday.
Allen caught a touchdown pass, his first of the 2013 season, in the second quarter on a 20-yard pass from Andrew Luck.
