The Colts are back on a normal schedule this week after it was thrown off last week, which meant that they were back on the practice field today. A significant player was also back on the practice field today - defensive lineman Arthur Jones was a limited participant after not practicing since the week before the Eagles game. Here's the full Colts injury report today:
Darius Butler, CB (ankle) - did not practice
Gosder Cherilus, OL (knee) - did not practice
Reggie Wayne, WR (rest) - did not practice
Arthur Jones, DT (ankle) - limited practice
Hugh Thornton, OL (back) - limited practice
Jack Mewhort, OL (ankle) - full practice
A few notes...
- Chuck Pagano said that he expects Gosder Cherilus to practice tomorrow after missing today, so it doesn't sound like it's that serious of an injury that kept him out today - mainly just precautionary.
- We don't know any further about whether Arthur Jones will play Sunday or not, but the fact that he practiced for the first time in weeks was at least a good sign.
- The two starting linemen who missed last week, Mewhort and Thornton, were both back today (Mewhort was full, Thornton was limited).
