The Indianapolis Colts will play their final regular season football game until next September this afternoon in Tennessee as they take on the Titans, as playoff football begins next week. There's still one game left to go for the Colts in the 2014 regular season, however, and let's first take a look at who won't be playing in that game. Here's the list of the inactives for the Colts this afternoon:
CB Sheldon Price
LB Jerrell Freeman
OL Joe Reitz
OL Gosder Cherilus
TE Dwayne Allen
LB Bjoern Werner
DL Zach Kerr
A few notes:
- T.Y. Hilton, who missed last week's game with a hamstring injury, is active today, which is obviously a huge boost to the offense. Expect the Colts to be careful with him, however, so he'll likely be on a snap count.
- The other two players who were listed as questionable on Friday will not play: Jerrell Freeman and Joe Reitz. The hope is that both will be back for the playoffs, however.
- The Colts will be without four starters this afternoon, as tight end Dwayne Allen, right tackle Gosder Cherilus, and linebackers Jerrell Freeman and Bjoern Werner are inactive due to injuries. With the Colts being locked into the fourth seed and this game not meaning much, Indy will be extra cautious with the injured players.
