The Indianapolis Colts this season were led by a very good offense, and that offensive attack was led by the league-leader in touchdown passes in 2014, quarterback Andrew Luck (who threw 40 scores). The team leaders in touchdown receptions were the two tight ends for the Colts, however, and they actually made history. Dwayne Allen and Coby Fleener became the first tight ends in NFL history to both have eight-plus touchdown receptions on the same team in the same season.

On the season, Coby Fleener caught 51 passes for 774 yards and eight touchdowns, as he scored two in the season finale against the Titans to get to eight on the year. Dwayne Allen caught 29 passes for 395 yards and eight touchdowns. They're the first tight end tandem to both catch at least eight touchdowns in a season.
They weren't the only Colts' tight ends to get in on the action, however, as Jack Doyle also added two scores receiving. Combined, the three tight ends accounted for 98 receptions, 1,287 yards, and 18 touchdowns in 2014, as the team absolutely got great production from the position. And it turns out that in doing so, Fleener and Allen did something that no tight end tandem in NFL history has done before - both catch at least eight touchdowns in the same season.
