Before we get into the schedule, I want to embed this supremely awesome tweet from the NFL's PR man, Brian McCarthy:

I almost wish the NFL still generated it's schedule this way. Imagine Roger Goodell in his kitchen with board like that in front of him, planning the 2014 calendar of games. If they made a show of just him sitting there, planning out the schedule all by himself, I'd soooooooo watch it.
